The Orchid String Quartet are a vibrant young group of female classical musicians who have performed together all over the UK for Pop acts, Corporate Events and weddings.They have performed in a wide range of events for clients including Prince Andrew and Sharon Osbourne.They have a diverse collection of repertoire guaranteed to satisfy all tastes and add that something special to your event.

Heather, Emma, Katy and Kotono first got together in 2002 whilst they were students at the Royal Academy of Music in London. They have enjoyed great success both individually and as an ensemble working within both the classical and commercial fields. The girls have worked with orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the Irish Baroque Orchestra.

The Orchid quartet have also worked with dozens of world famous pop legends including Sir Elton John, Rod Stewart, Brian May, Phil Collins and have also appeared along side young artists including Westlife, Charlotte Church, McFly,Will Young, Il Divo, Katie Melua and Michael Buble. They work regularly on television and radio and can often be seen on programmes including Top of the Pops, Parkinson, CD:UK and T4. 

The Orchid quartet is a lively and versatile group of young professional musicians who offer a diverse range of repertoire-from Bach to Madonna, the possibilities are endless! They have performed in a number of weddings and corporate events ranging from a champagne reception for the Ambassador of Yeman to Sharon Osbourne's Birthday party!
